So has made known about Kosova Prees, the task director of the Infectious Clinic, Lindita Ayzaj Berisha, who has added that recent days there has been an increase in the number of cases hospitalised at the Infectious Clinic.
We have 111 patients in the Infectious Clinic today. Of them 72 are with oxygen therapy, while four patients are in Intensive medicine. Out of them three are in the respirators. Patients with oxygen therapy have patients who are in serious condition, but are currently being managed in departments. Yesterday we had 16 patients admitted to the clinic, while seven patients were released from clinic”, Ajazaj says.
She made it known by telephone that late evening hours one confirmed person lost his life with COVID-19, while another patient died this morning at the Infectious Clinic.
The early hours of the morning was a case of death, and in the late hours of the night there was also a case of COVID-positive death... In the Infectious Clinic during the day the number changes, but at no moment patients who have needed hospitalization at the Infectious Clinic have been hospitalized. Because other patients are released and accepted. But as the clinic's capacity is filled, you know, within the KSKUK Organising Plan, there are now COVID-3 clinics that are dedicated to the COVID-positive patient. So every patient who needs hospitalization will be hospitalised and managed by doctors”, she adds to Kosova Preris.
Ayaazaj shows that cases which need treatment and are confirmed cases of COVID will be sent to the Infectious Clinic, while suspected cases in the Pulmology one.
We had 91 ambulance cases in the clinic yesterday, which required treatment at the Infectious Clinic. Most of them have been patients who have resulted in positive, and who have had to be treated in a way that has been taxed. And those who needed hospitalization were hospitalised. So citizens will now visit me”, she points out.
During yesterday alone, 728 new cases of coronaryism, 60 cures and 12 deaths have been confirmed.
Ajazaj adds that increasing the number of patients hospitalised at the Infectious Clinic should increase citizens' awareness of respect for safeguards against spreading this disease.
