Coronavirus infection cases continued to mark growth in the United States.
According to Johns Hopkins University data, 99,660 new cases were confirmed on Wednesday.
In U.S. hospitals there are currently more than 50,000 coronary patients.
The figure represents growth of around 64% by the beginning of October.
The average rate of daily victims has also increased, although it remains lower than at the beginning of the pandemic in March.
The U.S. “could not have been positioned weaker”, with cold weather pushing people to stay inside, National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Disease Director Anthony Fauci said in an interview for the Washington Post newspaper.
The United States is the most affected country in the world by coronarys.
The total number of infected people there is close to 9.5 million, while the victims have exceeded 233,000.
