Earthquakes, which in seconds marked one of the worst events Albania experienced by natural disasters.
This powerful earthquake killed 51 people, injured 913 others, and a total of 202 thousand were affected in some municipalities.
Among the victims were two brothers from “Livoch of Epper” Gjilan, the Shemsed of Isa Abazi, who suffered a tragic loss of life under the drills of one of the hotels that collapsed that day.
A year ago everything was destroyed. Thumana returned to a location “fanzam”.
The palace, houses, collapsed schools, people seeking help, ambulances, police cars, and armies were images that could be seen by this tragedy.
Numerous tents were placed around so that at least the elderly and children could be accommodated.
At the ruins of palaces, people fought between life and death, while others had to cope with the panic that caused post-ditch.
The solidarity of our brothers, neighbors, and friends was not lacking. Kosovo, Italy, Greece, Turkey, France and many other countries brought rescue search teams to Albania, which for days have been searching for victims' bodies.
After a year, the wounds have not yet died out. Durres and Tirana were two of the largest municipalities that had serious consequences, but not least in the municipalities of Shijak, Kruja, Kamza, Kavaja, Kurbin, Lezha, Rrogozyna.
The November 26th night tracks of last year are in anyone's memory, which one year later recalls that life and death divide by a few seconds.
