The White House reveals that Trump's condition is heavier than previously said

White House cabinet chief Mark Meadows said President Donald Trump's health condition on Friday was evidently worse than first announced, adding that doctors recommended that he be transferred to the hospital because of fever and the drop in oxygen levels in the blood, and that now [...]
In an interview for Fox News, Meadows commented on conflicting and unclear reports about the health of 74-year-old president, who contracted COVID-19.
We were really worried. He had fever and the oxygen level in the blood had dropped. But, in his typical style, the president was standing and walking,” said Meadows.
I can tell you this, the most important thing is that now there is no fever and that the president is really good when it comes to getting blood filled with oxygen, he added.
White House representatives, including Meadows, said on Friday that the president has “slight symptoms” and that he continues to work. But doctors from Walter Reed Military Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital recommended that Trump be transferred to the hospital.
He's been extremely healed since yesterday morning, especially when he knows that a large number of people, including me and the doctor, are very concerned,” said.
A day after conflicting messages from the White House, Trump addressed the public from the hospital through Twitter, saying he felt “much better” and hoped he would return soon.
Trump was transferred by helicopter from the White House to Walter Reed, not far from Washington on Friday, about 17.00 after he announced he was ill.
