He said the PDK has led the country's most important processes and played a protagonist role in post-war reconstruction, in declaring independence and in building the first of state institutions.
“It continues to contribute to the country as a constructive opposition party that raises its voice for the interests of citizens and puts responsibility upon it and demands accountability from the government so that it fulfills its duties properly. Meanwhile, our party continues its internal reforms that will soon bring it back victorious in the upcoming” election competitions, Veselin said.
Wessel's full delivery:
In this 21st anniversary of the establishment of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, I have the honour and satisfaction of warmly wishing all its members and supporters wherever they are located. On this marked day, special congratulations I send to party founders who took the first steps of this political organisation under very difficult conditions. I also submitted with deep gratitude to all those who have contributed to the successes of our party, but who today are no longer among us. Of course, the greatest honours belong to Kosovo citizens, who have entrusted our party and who continue to see it as guarantee of the consolidation of independence, economic development and democracy, as well as of Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic orientation.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo has led the country's most serious processes and has played a protagonist role in post-war reconstruction, the declaration of independence, and the first construction of state institutions. It continues to contribute to the country as an exemplary constructive opposition party that raises its voice for the interests of citizens and puts responsibility upon it and demands accountability from the government so that it can fulfil its duties properly. Meanwhile, our party continues its internal reforms that will soon bring it back victorious in future election competitions.
Unable to celebrate together because of the pandemic, I wish you all at a distance: Happy birthday to the Democratic Party of Kosovo!
