According to the news, the entire wealth of the richest 1 percent of Americans is $32 trillion, and the total wealth of the poorest 50 percent is $2.08 trillion.
The news points out that the total wealth of the 50 richest people in the country corresponds to that of 165 million people, which is half the country's population, and that 50 wealthy people have increased their wealth by $393 billion since the beginning of 2020.
As it is further said, the COVID-19 pandemic has depleted large segments and awarded disproportionately a small class of billionaires.
In a report published yesterday by the Wealth-X asset research company, it is said that Americans in North richer with assets of at least 30 million dollars have regained most of their pre-demia-time assets.
