The wealth of 50 richest people in the United States, equal to that of some 165 million others

The total wealth of 50 richest Americans in the United States equals the wealth of 165 million people, which is almost half the country's population.

According to a Bloomberg report based on data from the US Federal Reserve, in the first half of 2020, the distribution of wealth in the country has shown a huge inequality.

According to the news, the entire wealth of the richest 1 percent of Americans is $32 trillion, and the total wealth of the poorest 50 percent is $2.08 trillion.

The news points out that the total wealth of the 50 richest people in the country corresponds to that of 165 million people, which is half the country's population, and that 50 wealthy people have increased their wealth by $393 billion since the beginning of 2020.

As it is further said, the COVID-19 pandemic has depleted large segments and awarded disproportionately a small class of billionaires.

In a report published yesterday by the Wealth-X asset research company, it is said that Americans in North richer with assets of at least 30 million dollars have regained most of their pre-demia-time assets.

The net collective wealth of wealthy people in question is also emphasized by 37 percent from late March through August, reaching approximately 12.5 trillion dollars.
