The public administration reform continues to remain a top priority of the government, and it is evident that progress has been made, but in the face of up to date, challenges remain to be addressed.
So said Minister of Internal Affairs and Public Administration Agim Veliu at the Council of Ministers meeting for Public Administration Reform.
The chairman of this Council, Minister Veliu, said that through the strategic framework for public administration reform 2015-2020, it has been aimed at improving and functioning public administration and providing better services to citizens.

Minister Veliu has also talked about budgetary support for implementing public administration reform aimed at European integration.
He said another important issue is the progress achieved in implementing the contract for budgetary, sector support, where the transfer of fixed transfers from the European Commission's IPA funds has been made to many of the 11.5m euros as a result.
“In order to meet the national plans of the Kosovo government and other strategic documents for the public administration reform process and European integration from us requires a good and co-ordinated engagement and co-ordination of all so that in the next meeting of the group for public administration reform to be held on 13 October, we can have a vision and a mirror of results and challenges in this” process, he said.
The strategic framework in public administration reform is focused on three areas, such as the development and co-ordination of legislation policies, which is responsible for the prime minister's office. While, for public service, human resource management, accountability and service delivery, responsibility falls to the MPB Public Administration Ministry, respectively, now.
Meanwhile, after Minister Veliu's speech, the Council meeting has continued without media presence.
