In a 4-minute video posted on Twitter on Saturday, Trump said the coming days would be the real “test”, while thanking everyone in the United States and worldwide for their support.
Trump and the First Lady, Melanie, were diagnosed with the disease caused by the Coronavirus, COVID-19 on Friday.
Trump, on the same day, was admitted to Walter Reed Military Medical Center.
Doctors who are treating the president said earlier that he is in “extremely good understanding”, without fever and difficulty in breathing, while a member of his staff said the next two days will be critical to the 74-year-old president.
This morning, the president feels very good”, said Dr. Sean Conley. Trump has been out of temperature for 24 hours and is currently not being treated with oxygen, he added.

“Ekipi and I are extremely happy with the progress President” made, Conley said, but declined to say when he is expected to be released from the hospital.
Doctors also refused to say whether the president has ever demanded oxygen despite repeated questions from journalists.
Trump, who is taking the remdesiviviral therapy, can continue to work from the hospital's presidential suite, the White House said.
Remdesiviviriviri is an experimental anti-viral treatment, which is intravenous. The medicine has shown signs of reducing the intensity and longevity of the disease. Trump is expected to take it in five days.
In the video message published on Saturday, Trump also praised the medical team's work.
Trump's sudden illness marked a blow to his campaign for the November elections. Trump will compete for re-election on November 3rd, against the Democrat candidate, Joe Biden.
Trump has on several occasions minimized the threat of the coronary pandemic and has rarely worn a mask.
