Thaci before the media also said the pardi stayed in Paris except for the visit to Washington, where he said there were informal meetings with American officials where the topic of dialogue with particular emphasis was discussed in reaching a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia that would imply mutual recognition.
Also during the meeting that I held with Lajcak days ago in Brussels, there were the same topics of discussion all around Washington at meetings I held with senior American state authorities at informal meetings”, Thaci said.
The country's first one said it also held a nightlong meeting in Paris without specifying who it met and which is also discussed the possibility of final agreement with Serbia.
I also see a better co-ordination and a higher level of the EU with the United States in Paris. This is a good and clear message and I think encouraging that we be as unique as possible in this process in order to finalise this process as soon as possible with mutual recognition of Kosovo with Serbia. This would then enable economic development and increased social welfare”, he said.
