Thaci fulfilled the VV's desire to leave Citak from Washington: Are those words behind the decision?

President Thaci has signed yesterday the decree removing Ambassador Vlora Citaku from the mission in the United States, thus carrying out the will of the Vetevendosje Movement, more specifically, former chief of our diplomacy Mr. Glauk Konjufca. But how was the situation in early March when such a decision was made by Vetevendosje?
At that time, the Kurti Government and chief diplomat Konjufca were criticised for this decision that seemed to have political background. On the other hand, Citaku had taken to himself public opinion in Kosovo with her convincing submissions against Serbia at the UN General Assembly meetings, Periscope follows.
Although this decision seems a little unintelligible, since President Thaci did not agree with Vetevendosje at this point, Citak's reaction on March 3rd could be the means to enable such a decision.
Ambassador Chitaku had then refused to join the government's political confrontations with the presidency by denouncing such conduct and saying she would voluntarily leave the diplomatic mission.
“As ambassador I have been appointed through political keys. I've said that many times before, and it's quite natural that the Government of Kosovo will seek my replacement. However, I will not allow myself to become meat for a ball in the battle between Government and Presidency. Chitaku.
Although the Kosovo government is currently not guided by Vetevendosje, as well as the country's foreign policy, the removal of the Citak ʹ based on this reaction seems to have been done on its own will.
Full response:
Hello from Washington,
A few hours ago, at the same time as publishing the news on Facebook, I've accepted an email report on the application through which the Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Glauk Konjufca, has asked Kosovo President for my departure from office as ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the US.
Of course, I will respect the Government requirement of the Republic of Kosovo.
Although I am clear that legally only the president of Kosovo has the right to appoint and dismiss ambassadors of the Republic of Kosovo, it is sufficient for me to have already been widely known, that I am unwanted.
However, I believe I have deserved a preliminary consultation regarding the proposal in question.
As ambassador I have been appointed through political keys. I've said that many times before, and it's quite natural that the Government of Kosovo will seek my replacement. But I will not allow myself to become meat for a ball in the battle between Government and Presidency.
In this transitional period, I will try to fulfill all responsibilities, just as I have done every time.
I hope the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo will quickly agree to my successor.
Ambassador/Ambassor to come after me, I will offer my full and generous cooperation.
I have had the special honor and privilege of serving three prime ministers and two presidents with honor and responsibility.
In the United States, I represented Kosovo as I knew best.
My inspiration has always been and will remain the citizens of Kosovo, whom I represented in Washington. My message in the American capital was exactly the echo of their history of recovery.
No permanent ambassador. Eternal is only Kosovo and service to”
