Hasan Uslu killed his 32-year-old daughter, who worked as a dancer and kept her body in the refrigerator after returning home late and drunk. The event took place in the district of Kesan, in the province of Edirne in northwest Turkey.
Uslu said before the court that it was the girl's fault for the event, for she insulted her mother when she returned home and showed no respect for him. He relates that when his daughter gave him a word, she was thrown out and killed him.
The kebabtore employee was arrested after parts of the 32-year-old girl's body were found wrapped in newspapers by a man who collected pinecones in the nearby forest. Police carried out their expertise and managed to find out that it was the dancer Didem Uslu. After the investigation it was found that her father was trying to hide the girl's body in the woods.
