Tahiri: There are other topics with Serbia in addition to mutual recognition

The opposing position of the parties on the subject is leading to a demand to raise the level of mediators in the dialogue.

Government First Deputy Prime Minister Hoti Besnik Tahiri tells Kosovo that at any level of mediation dialogue there is no alternative, but on the basis of the principles and final agreement for mutual recognition.

The “Dialog for the Government of Kosovo has no alternative. We have built the correct principles on how to proceed towards the final agreement with mutual recognition. We have made these positions both by government, but opposition political subjects are also on a line. There is no subthema, there is only one and that is the final agreement and mutual recognition”, he says.

EU leaders' greater attention at this stage is also seeking PDK deputy Blerta Deliu-Codra.

We can change the level of fasiliators, who's mediating dialogue, whether we need a higher level or lower. This is unrealistic, it is not necessary to discuss because any level that the keys in the dialogue cannot achieve a result because it is not the support of the citizens of Kosovo”, it says.

Meanwhile, the Serbian Loja Group for Jury and Political Studies said that at any level of mediation in Brussels, the Kosovo side should condition further continuation of dialogue with mutual recognition.

This request is not surprising at all, it is in the continuation of Serbia's tendency to condition continued dialogue for its interests. On issues Serbia wants to move forward and fix to their advantage. We consider that no step forward or further continuation of the dialogue is done without a minimum guarantee, without a condition of recognition of Kosovo from Serbia because such a thing has so far not happened.
