Tahiri-Hot: Is there an official request from the EU for association with executive competency?

Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy Abelard Tahiri has demanded clarification from Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti if he has received an official request from the European Union for establishing association with executive competencies, as Serbia is demanding.

He has asked the first executive if there is room for concern in association.

The prime minister is to declare before us as a man who heads the state whether we should have concerns about association or should not have... Does the Republic of Kosovo have official request from EU representatives for the establishment of association with executive competencies? ”, he said.

The immediate reaction was Hoti's, who addressed MP Tahiri, saying he heard any EU statements about this.

“Did you hear Mr. Tahiri sometimes any EU statement asking Kosovo to establish an association with executive competence”, Hoti said.

While MP Tahiri has said he has heard an EU representative's proposal for the possibility of changing the Kosovo Constitution, which would pave the way for forming association with executive competence.

“I've heard the EU representative's proposal, which gives a direction to the possibility of changing the Constitution of Kosovo, so it's a fact that we MPs decide and you don't have two-thirds, even if you want to do it”, Tahiri said.

Hoti's response was that the format of dialogue has changed, saying there are no more closed-door dinners.
