Ministry of Education and Science ( MAS) and SBASK have asked the Government to enable the engagement of 1,000 paid teachers for the new school year.

The Kosovo Education Union had even sought to replace and provide additional tools for teachers in serious health condition.

The SBASK chairman, Nundman Jasharaj in an interview for Online Economy, has said there is hesitation by the Ministry of Education's municipal directors to carry out the education ministry's decision.

Jasharaj says that if this decision is not carried out by the DKA, then SBASK will require the return of the means.

We're concerned because our information speaks because educational directors are somewhat reluctant to make the education ministry's decision, to provide tools at least for this school year for a number that we've considered 300 seriously ill, cancer and other diseases, and in some educational director there are risks for these people to tell you to relax during this school year, because MAS has provided means and engage new Quadrums.

And it's also not very well explained to you, and we still don't have the real situation of what with those standards provided by the government and MAS, because those rates have been provided for the teachers who are affected by Ovid to replace. We're going to be watching carefully, and we're expecting the beginning of October as we have the beginning of the new academy year, and we're going to do an analysis of how much agreement is being made on sick teachers and per se on norms, and if it doesn't work out right then we're going to react publicly and we're going to ask the education ministry that those tools require the DKA's, that the government has already shared those tools for these two purposes when our sick colleagues increase in their disease but that they're not active in this school year, but that they take full-time pay, Jajshara.

We've had complaints from our colleagues who are sick, who have begged us to address them The decades, to replace, rather than everywhere, have been carried out the UN decision that our ailing colleagues should be replaced by”, he said.

He has also talked about respecting measures in schools as well as those infected with Coddy-19. He has indicated that the information he has is being respected in the country's schools, EO reports.

“Task-forces are conveying the situation to schools, and it is true that we have cases of showing contact with Covid, either from students and among education workers. The Task Force based on our information is operating on the decisions of IKKKPK, and in moments when that number is more visible, then it's passed on to another version of learning, that's learning from a distance. From our information in general are respecting those defence rules, but it's been expected to have cases and fortunately we don't have very large cases”.

Jasarak has also asked for the help of Minister of Education and Labor and Social Health for teachers to retire prematurely, reports EO.

I wish that together with Minister Likaj and Minister Recica, for these people to find a long-term solution so that they can retire prematurely and deserve it because they have worked hard in education and are now sick”.

He has mentioned once again that they are opposed to maintaining a temperature by educational staff in schools.

“We're still against temperature management because it's not a task we can perform properly, that education personnel will lose a long time because that teacher is late for his classes, when at this time classes are reduced and he has no obligation and no duty”.
