Shala showed up at the police station today, where he was interviewed for several hours, in the presence of his lawyer.
For the first time on the run, Kadri Shala appeared on Saturday evening. Through his brother, he had delivered a handwritten letter to the Gazette Express and T7 Television. In this letter dated October 24, 2020, Shala has told the story of how such a large sum of money has been completed from the state budget to account for his firm. He has said he thought he had accepted tools from companies that he said owed him.
Shala had written that as soon as she received this money, she had begun paying off debts owed to people and companies.
