The Health Ministry has announced that during the last 24 hours in Spain, 19,765 new cases have been confirmed, bringing the total to 1,136,503 infections since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to data from the ministry, the death toll increased by 168 to 35,466, following Tuesday's sharp increase of 267, which was the largest one-day rise in the second wave of COVID-19.
