In the last 24 hours, 745 cases were recorded, the second day in line with the record number of newly infected COVID-19 in the country, which currently has over 10,000 infected people, reports the STA news agency.
Speaking at a press conference, Slovenian government spokesman Jelko Kacin said a record 5,287 tests were conducted yesterday. The number of hospital patients increased by 12 to 222, although 20 patients were released home. There are 40 people in intensive care units.
There are 10,683 cases of coronary in Slovenia, of which 4,818 are still active.
Another person died of coronary, so the total death toll has reached 176.
