Former head of the National Intelligence Service Fatos Klosi has confessed for the first time that Albania's SHIK has had a helping role in the Kosovo War in 1999.

In a different confession, he says that SHIK's contribution has been to transporting arms towards Kosovo, while also citing the role of the Albanian Army, which, according to him, has helped in the KLA's fight in this direction.

According to Klose, part of the weapons were purchased in Europe and America, while SHIK saw to it that they were transported in secret.

We had no control (in the entire territory of the country), but we had information. We could not have missed the situation so that we could not have information about such serious things. If they call camp, where I know, a room, a house where someone's been interrogating, it's a different thing. Camps, however, are very difficult. At first I was involved in knowing them, who they were, how they were, how they were, and I created a clearer idea that they weren't even terrorists as they claimed, that they weren't even people who were fighting for themselves, that they had done prisons for most of those I met in Yugoslavia, in the former Yugoslavia, there were people who had then moved into migration, but that they had not even stayed in the tranquillity of immigration, had fought to mobilise people, to collect funds, that is, that is, I had done a lot.

And I felt myself with some people who were way ahead of me in the field of patriotism and I got involved with them. I'm always calling it under my command. The service (information) then created departments, parts of it that were more specific.

There were soldiers, Albanian Army departments who helped. But we don't have to talk about this part yet. They had certain tasks, we gave them, it's no secret, our main contribution was to transport”. He said.

And that's why they were bought in Europe, most of them, or in America, they were bought, so that's the point, that they could be transported as secret as they could be, that's not getting anywhere, not photographed, and I think we did it. My American colleague used to tell me, you're the first dancer, play that this case won't come again, for the history of the war in Kosovo”, Klosi said at ABC.
