The next session of Salih Mustafa is held in December

Salih Mustafa, former soldier in the Kosovo Liberation Army, has been declared innocent in the courtroom at The Hague for all points he is accused of.

Before being found guilty or innocent, Mustafa has made a statement before the judge of the preliminary procedure, through which he requested that the Serb crimes committed against Albanian civilians in Kosovo be investigated, he said.

This was Salih Mustafa's statement before Judge Nicolas Guillo:

The Specialised Chamber of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Judge, ladies and gentlemen, since I am the first citizen of the Republic of Kosovo to appear before this court with a confirmed indictment, I have to say a few words, or, rather, I want to make a statement.

I Salih Mustafa, former freedom fighter and former KLA member, deeply believed in the NLA soldier's oath, and the morality of my fellow fighters, being deeply convinced that the KLA's struggle for freedom and independence has been right, inevitable and necessary.
