The serial killer of women is sentenced to death by hanging

Prosecutors said the 26-year-old man named Gracious David-West had choked his victims in hotel rooms across Nigeria between July and September 2019.

Judge Adolphus Enebel said he would be hanged, reports BBC, translate Periscopi.

One of his victims survived the attack, but did not appear as a witness in court. Authorities said its location was unknown, despite being told not to leave the state.

Police said he had confessed that he had killed six other women elsewhere, but had not been charged with killing them because of a lack of evidence.
