Serbia reacts after Hoti statements that reciprocity could be returned

The director of the so-called office for Kosovo in Serbia government, Petar Petkovovic, has reacted sharply after Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti's statements in the country that unless the final agreement involving mutual recognition is reached, “guarantees that we return to establishing full reciprocity in every respect with Serbia”. Petkov said [...]
Petkov has said that Hoti “should not think it would force Belgrade to make concessions and that it should not live in the illusion that someone is afraid of his own” threats. He said he expects the international community to rebuke Hoti,
With its extremist views, Hoti can harm only himself, but his fellow citizens and the stability of the region, which we at least want. I expect the international community to strongly rebuke Pristina for the latest series of threatening provocations and language and hate that undermine dialogue”, Petkov said.
Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has voiced confidence that dialogue with Serbia will be completed within months. He in today's intervention in the Assembly said there is no illusion on the issue. According to Hoti, the dialogue will be concluded with mutual recognition or found together with international partners that there will be no agreement. And then, as Hoti said, there will be full reciprocity against Serbia.
This dialogue is only about the final agreement with mutual recognition. This dialogue is a matter of months, I have no illusions about that. I don't know whether it will end with mutual recognition, whether it will end with recognition, whether it will end with recognition, but I know it will come to an end in a few months and bring an agreement for mutual recognition in this assembly, or we will find together with partners that this agreement cannot be reached. I guarantee that we return to putting full reciprocity in every respect with Serbia”, Hoti has expressed itself.
