Russia's Detective Commission, which handles more serious crimes, said through a statement that it is dealing with the incident as an attempted terrorist act and has opened a criminal case, Reuters writes, broadcast Gaz Express.
The commission's statement says that the teenager tried to set a police station on fire in the town of Kukmor through Molotov's cocktail and killed at least three times a police official in an effort to arrest him.
It's pointed out that another cop shot a warning signal before forced to shoot the new guy. It is reported that the teenager died at the scene before doctors arrived.
