Renowned Kosovo microbiologist Lul Raka has said it is good news that Kosovo has little number of coronary infected people.
Today, according to the current trend, we are honored by the four states that have the trend to reduce infection, along with Bosnia, Malta and Luxembourg. That's very good news since we've been in the fall-to-day” season.
According to him, however, this trend does not make us free, as it did the first time that it brought us into a bad situation where the health system was loaded.
Asked about the so-called second wave, Raka has said there is no international standard determining when or when the first wave begins and the second wave begins.
A new wave defines the number increase. Second wave factors are seasonal flu, indoor closure and the return of students to schools. The chances of spreading the virus are favourable at this time”.
As far as total closure is possible, Raka said in principle it opposes this form of isolation.
I'm against total closure at this stage. We've all had experience with the coronary, and total closure is not an option. To the last option, all mechanisms should be used, but not total shut-down”.
Speaking of age groups affected by the Coronavirus, Raka said that during the summer research has been done that has given interesting figures.
The first stage affected “were persons over 65, while on the second course, July-August, the affected age groups were 20-29. One of the factors of the virus's spread has been this new age group, because they are asmptomatic”.
Regarding the sources of infections, Raka said that in Europe, respectively, in Spain and France, the sources of infection have been nightclubs.
And the bars and restaurants were the ones that set up a fire to the coronary”.
As for the source of infections in Kosovo, Raka says there are bars and restaurants, then birthdays, weddings, churches and mosques.
Even public institutions are the source of the infection in Kosovo. Our behavior is the main factor in implementing” measures.
According to him, the state should monitor implementation of measures to prevent the spread of the coronary.
