Prosecutor: Hakki Rugova arrested under corruption allegations

At the order of the Founding Prosecutor in Pec, Istog Commission Chairman Haki Rugova has been arrested.

Rugova is under arrest for committing criminal acts of corruption.

Along with Rugova, vice chairman of the Istog municipality, Agim Ademiaj, and another official have been put in handcuffs.

News of the arrest of the same men, for “Justice Vow”, has confirmed the custody prosecutor at the Peja Foundation Prosecutor Valbona Dishaj-Hajoa.

“Yes, I can confirm that at the order of the Founding Prosecutor in Pec, the mayor of the Istog municipality, the deputy chairman of this municipality and another official has been arrested. The same have been arrested under suspicion of committing corruption criminal acts” has said Dishaj-Hagoje for “Justice Vow”.

Otherwise, Hakki Rugova is currently being tried by the Peja Court for criminal acts of conflict of interest.
