Muhammad is the prophet and founder of Islam. He was born in Mecca in 570, and he spent most of his life as a merchant. At the age of 40, perhaps driven by some economic crisis, he began communicating with Allah and taking his pronouncements on what became the basis for the cure and the establishment of Islam. Muhammad's Life
Muhammad's father had died before he was born a self - proclaimed prophet who was raised by his grandfather and then by his uncle. He belonged to a poor but respected Kurdish family. The family was active in Mecca's politics and trade.
Most of the tribes that lived on the Arabian Peninsula back then were nomads, who traded things over the desert. Most of the tribes were idolaters, worshipping their gods. As a teenager, Muhammad worked in a camel caravan for his uncle. He gained trade experience by traveling to Syria and even to the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean. By that time Muhammad had earned the reputation of an honest and honest man, making him a weak merchant.
In his 20 ' s, he began working for a wealthy merchant named Khadilah, 15 years older. She was seduced by Muhammad and proposed marriage. He agreed, let's not forget she was rich, and made some kids together.

Muhammad was very religious, occasionally taking trips to worship sacred places in Mecca. On one of his pilgrimages, in 610, he was meditating on the cave of Mount Jabal al-Nour when the angel Gabriel appeared to him who transmitted his word to God. Most Islamic historians say Muhammad had been disturbed by these ideas/discovery and did not reveal them publicly for years.

Then Muhammad began to gather a few people around him without any opposition. Most people in Mecca either ignored or ridiculed him as just another prophet.
Muhammad was seen as a threat only when he denounced idolatry and politicism. The tribal leaders viewed these messages as a danger to power.
The dedication of idol worship had severe economic consistency for merchants who met in Mecca each year to express their worship of idols.
The merchants and leaders of Mecca had offered him money to abandon his prophecies, but he had refused.
His already grown group had been forced to move from Mecca to Medina in 622. In Medina, Muhammad was instrumental in ending civil wars between the tribes of the city.
Between 624 and 628 Muslims were involved in a series of wars for their survival.
