Police: A hand grenade was found in the suspicious car on AKI

Kosovo Police spokesman Bucky Kelani, of news.net has said the search at the site has ended at 8:40.

A hand grenade was found and confiscated in the suspect's vehicle, while even the car in question was confiscated.

Kelani has said that all further actions will be undertaken in co-operation and co-ordination with the prosecutor.

“Around 08:40 minutes, all relevant police units have completed the location of the scene and the road has been released for circulation. During the site's examination of the event, a hand grenade was found in the car of the suspected Kosovo male person (E. B. 1993). And the suspected car was confiscated by police. All further actions will be undertaken in co-operation and co-ordination with the prosecutor compent”, Kelani has said of news.net.

Meanwhile, police have previously arrested the suspect in the car.

“Today, October 09th 2020, about 6:15 a.m., Kosovo Police have accepted information that the Pristina route of Fushë Kosovo is a suspected person with a car. Police units have taken immediate action at the site of the event, where the suspected person has been detained and escorted to the” police station, the preliminary communique said.
