Last night in late hours, from 19 pm to 1: 00 a.m., Kosovo Police have carried out the encrypted operation “, respectively. Hawk”
This operation was conducted by the Regional Directorate of the West Border in Gjakova.
The news has confirmed Nexmi Krasniqi, the commander of this directorate.
He has said the operation was conducted in Jablanica the Great, on the border with Montenegro. According to him, three horses loaded with 30 packs of cigarettes and a total of 1500 MAC-like units have been seized in this operation.
“Duhan has been entering Kosovo from Montenegro's territory to the town of Pec. Suspected persons have observed the movements of the Kosovo Police, who were disguised and later fled towards Montenegro. Kosovo police have pursued them to the border line between the two states, but since it was darkness and fog, it has been impossible to capture them”, Krasniqi has said.
