On Thursday, she announced a legislative move that would create a commission to enable Congress to intervene to free the president from executive duties, based on the 25th Constitution Amendment.
When only a few weeks remain until the 3 November election day, Pelosi said the president should provide more information on his health situation after diagnosing with COVID-19. The House of Representatives' chairwoman referred to those she named as the president's strange “ ” when Trump cancelled talks on the aid package. She added that Americans have the right to know the exact date when he was exposed to the virus. Speaker of the House of Representatives said she would present the bill Friday to authorise the creation of the review commission.
The president reacted immediately to Twitter with a comment saying: “The mad Nancy is what needs to be observed. They don't call it crazy.
Congress is currently not at the active legislative session, so it is unlikely for a serious review of this move in the legislative body, much less for supporting the proposal in a vote in the House of Representatives or Senate.
But the bill offers the Democrats in Congress to raise questions about the president's health, while the White House has announced a number of infected members of the president's staff, as well as visitors and senators diagnosed with COVID-19, after being in contact with his president or cabinet.
