This was made known by an announcement sent by this party on Saturday.
The Kosovo Democratic Party in Pristina will hold a press conference tomorrow 18 October”, the announcement said.
The PDK has not announced the reasons for this conference, meanwhile, this party has held a conference Saturday, where it has criticised the Hoti Government for dismissing the police director general, the director of ATK and Customs.
The party's deputy leader, Shacir Totaj, has said the political dismissals Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has made are the serious violation of independent institutions and the dangerous precedent for the capture of vital institutions.
The behaviour of this government has hit one of the greatest 20-year-old achievements of governance in Kosovo over political vengeance against independent institutions, regardless of which party has been in power”, Totaj said.
“It is regret that none of the foreign embassies, separately the United Kingdom in Kosovo, which has been involved in the selection of many independent institutions, have yet to react and is continuing to silence”, Totaj said.
Totaj has linked Qalaj's dismissal to the arrest of LDK's Haki Rugova, calling this act of revenge against law enforcement institutions.
