Parties expressed readiness for elections, Vetevendosje seeks to be held

Albanian parliamentary parties are saying they are ready to organise new elections, but only the Vetevendosje Movement is demanding that they be held. In the ruling parties, the AAK's LDK say they will continue governance, but if circumstances arise they have the structures prepared for elections. While in the PDK, despite readiness they expressed [...]
LDK MP Ismet Beqiri says there are many reasons why you should not go to the elections at this time, but if he should come to that point, his party is ready.
Of course we're ready, but there are many reasons we don't think we need to go to the elections. Not because we are leading the government and we are in power, but we are convinced that many developments are of nature that the electoral process would not help, but as far as readiness is discussed that the LDK is always ready, but we believe we will achieve further governance and have a stable government and cannot predict”, Beqiri said.
The same line to Beqiri is AAK MP Time Kadriaj, who says that unless there is a coalition cry, there is no need for new elections. It stresses that they are constantly working with structures and electorate to always be on alert.
“The coalition is functioning, we don't have a coalition cry, but if the circumstances we have to go to the elections, the Alliance is constantly working with its structures. We are in touch with the electorate, the structures, and we are ready for the electoral process if the circumstances come to the elections... ... under these circumstances is a stable coalition, if we have a stable coalition, it is meaningless to go to the elections, but in any circumstances the Alliance is ready for new elections”, Kadrija said.
New Elections Undershelf PDK, Enver Hoxhaj, but who says such a process is always ready.
“The PDK is ready every time especially when it is in opposition to news and premature. The problem is what would be the aim of early political elections. I think all we have to do is prepare for local elections in 2021”, Hoxhaj says.
But in spite of these, Vetevendosje Movement Chairmanship member Albulen Haxhiu, expressing readiness for new elections, says they are earnestly working on “ridding of” the Hoti government, which, according to her, is jeopardising Kosovo.
The current government has no legitimacy, nor does it have support from the Assembly of Kosovo, given that it does not even have 61 deputies supporting it ... There is a lack of legitimacy even though it does not represent the will of the people expressed in the 6 October elections. Therefore, under these circumstances it is not that we will exploit any situation, but we will work hard and have a great commitment to getting rid of this government that is extremely jeopardising the Republic of Kosovo”, she says.
Just a year ago, early elections were organised in Kosovo.
