Chief Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani has spoken of establishing a new initiative, led by her herself, after breaking up reports with LDK, where she held the deputy chairmanship and was a candidate for prime minister from this political subject.
In the interview for Telegraph.com, Osmani has provided new details about its initiative and has stressed that it is in the process of consolidation, in which there will be different profiles.
The General Council's voted decision exists. The LDK has ended everything with me with the decision to expel me. Anyone who tries to relativize such a decision that has never been taken for anyone else in the last 30 years that the LDK exists, then does not understand the political processes, or is trying to escape from a responsibility they have to take. I've been blocked by any possibility of contributors within LDK”, Osmani said.
Asked whether there could be a coalition between its initiative and Albin Kurti's LVV, Osmani said it remains to be seen.
“We are in the process of consolidating this initiative where we will have our list, and then whenever elections are held we will sit down we will also discuss with LVV we will see where those negotiations will lead and we will see whether we will have a pre-election coalition or post-election. This is a matter of co-operation that can be built in the future”, Osmani said.
The chief speaker stressed that the purpose of her new initiative is to combat the seized state, and that the profiles of people who will be part of it will be people of integrity and profession.
