Northern Macedonia registers 1,000, 85 infected and 12 victims from COVID-19

Northern Macedonia has reached a record 1,085 new Corleone cases in one day Saturday. Also, in the last 24 hours, 12 dead and 283 recovered have been registered.

Among the dead is a person aged 27. Health institutions have informed that the 27-year-old, who was sent to the Infectious Clinic in Skopje in serious health, has not suffered from chronic illness. The other victims are from three in Skopje and Prilep, two in Tetovo and one in Gostivar, Kavadar and Manastir.
As for the infected, 447 new cases have been recorded in Skopje in Strumica 80, Tetovo 62, in Prilep 60, while in 26 other smaller cities of the infected.
Thirteen new patients have been admitted to the Infectious Clinic in Skopje, while the total number of hospitals has reached 154 persons, of them 117, are in oxygen therapy. In other hospitals in the country, about 450 people are laid down.
The heads of state institutions have called for respect for safeguard clauses, as Health Minister Venko Filipce “spitals have said they are being filled with patients”. He has warned of the possibility of restoring Skopje's general hospital at the centre for patients with COVID-19 (the disease causing the Coronavirus) if the capacity of the State University Clinic is complete.
So far, with COVIED-19 in northern Macedonia, 31,572 persons have been diagnosed; 994 have changed their lives; 20,731 have recovered, while 9,847 are active.
