Although the number of people affected by Avid-19 has begun to rise in all countries of the world, but the so-called second wave of pandemic has begun in Kosovo, some Parliament deputies are considering that our country is not prepared for this wave.

Kosovo's deputy from the Vetevendosje ranks, Fitim Uka, is considering that this is happening from the health ministry's inconsistencies, during the time of pandemic, while calling for citizens to respect the measures, as he says the state has failed to manage the pandemic.

Uka for Kosova priss, has said that Kosovo is unprepared for the second wave, as mass testing and hospital for the promised Ovid-19 have not been realised.

And we're actually looking at what we're looking at, it's completely unprepared, the first of the fact that for a long time we've been talking about massive testing, these never happened, then they're always talking about a hospital for Avid-19 that isn't visible anywhere on the horizon and other preparations that would have to happen now and how many months of pandemic have not happened, and the greatest surprise has been this minister's statement to the parliamentary Commission on health, which says there may be no second wave at all. As we see this happening in all countries of the region, but also in Europe, we are also seeing an increase in recent cases. All this shows not only the seriousness during the pandemic, and also the total ignorance of this Ministry of Indigation Management, so I consider that we are at risk in one form or another from this mismanagement and mismanagement, and my prayer is for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo to continue to respect these measures that are imposed by the National Institute of Public Health and thus take care of our own health, because it is seen that these state-run mechanisms do not function<1x> Ukkat said.

Uka stressed that his party has always been vocal in relation to managing the situation with Covid-19, even when Government of the Republic of Kosovo has failed to address citizens' concerns to protect their health.

While PDK deputy Bekim Haxhiu says to pass this phase, there must be better organisation and management for protection against pandemic.

The “would have to be more responsible, more re-organizing of our health system, we have excellent professionals, we have capacities, only good management and organisation”, Haxhiu said.

And the chairman of the Commission for Health from the AAK ranks, Albena Resiti, says of Kosova Prees, that although Kosovo is being introduced into the second wave of infection, the Health Commission is monitoring implementation of the law on prevention and fighting of Devid-19.

However, Resitij stressed that a citizen's education has been created for respecting mask-rigging measures, but that more work must be done for physical distance, while saying the inspectors' work and the work of all responsible acts will also be monitored.

We're entering a season that's in our favourable tone and all other countries normally. I expect a second wave of infection, I want to believe that we've already learned and created a civic education for respect for the masses, especially wearing the mask, will have to work more at physical distance because even for maintaining personal hygiene. I see an increased vigilance of citizens. It is very important for us to control our situation with gatherings, to maintain physical distance, and normally to try to overcome this situation together. Kosovo has a B action plan. I believe a lot in health personnel, I believe in health experts, and we're going to monitor the political part that we're managing to accept all these health experts and how much they're implementing and monitoring the job of the Inspectorate, the work of all responsible acts that are”, Resitij said.

And the large number of people infected with the Devvid-19 virus is also concerned about the task of acting director of the University Clinic Hospital Service of Kosovo, Valbon Krasniqi, who says of Kosova Preress, that this number has begun to increase over 10 days.

And for treatment of these cases, he says he is preparing in three ways for treatment of the affected with the David-19 pandemic.

Krasniqi says the capacity for beds has now grown, but also with human resources, while stressing that 1500 specialists are expected to soon join the health system.

We're making preparations in three directions. We're adding beds, we've made a plan to have about 900 beds available, in case we have demands for such capacities to extend to patients. Also, we're increasing human capacities and resources, and you know that 1500 specialists have already won the right to start specialisation and are expected to soon join our health system, and another 375 health professionals have been employed on deadlines by the Ministry of Health in support of the World Bank project, and that will make it easier for us, especially the issue of human resources. The other third column, we are preparing to make sure that we have a stable and adequate supply of products that treat these patients, including medical drugs and healthcare equipment for health personnel”, Krasniqi said.
