Labinot Gruda is one of the suspects for evaporating 2m euros from the Kosovo Republic Treasury budget.
The State Prosecutor's File reports that Gruda for an eight-minute period has made the transfer of over 2m euros to the account of the Lapusnik-based LDA Group Shk company. According to the defence attorney, Gruda in his office has been with 12-13 others.
While the two owners of the LDA Group K are on the run. S and V. The S, which according to Gazeta Express sources inside the Prosecutor, is allegedly hiding in Turkey.
But how the theft of 2 million of the Treasure accomplished on October 9 was discovered.
According to Gazeta Express information, such theft has been discovered by officials from the Ministry of Infrastructure.
From this minister, they have noticed that they are missing several million who were destined for several other projects, until they have noticed that the transfer of 2 million was made to a company with which they had no contractual relations.
As Express learns, the money has been missing from the project to resect the “Prizren-Prevale” road, the contract for which it was signed on 9 September.
The Minister of Infrastructure, Arba Abashi, talked about it last night.
The Ministry's “Offices have noted a suspicious transaction that has not been matched to any project and lacks means from other projects. As soon as this transaction has been noted we have announced the Treasury and other security organs”, Abrashi said at Rtv Dukajini.
Currently Labinot Gruda has been in custody for a month with the Pristina Foundation Court ruling. The two owners of the company who have accepted the money are being sought by the state, until the investigation has expanded to full 40.
