The EU's Special Representative for Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak in an interview for Serbia's State Television Radio has said that Kosovo as well as Serbia must change their constitution in order to achieve progress in dialogue.
Lajcak, who is staying in Belgrade after the visit to Pristina, has said that if Kosovo and Serbia do not change the Constitution then there is no room for dialogue.
My “message in Pristina was that the Constitution is not the Bible, and if you have entered this process then you should be willing to change the Constitution. When and how it will be clearer at the end of the process. We cannot accept the letter of the constitution as a red line. If Belgrade stands in its constitution and Pristina in its constitution then there is no room for dialogue”, Lajcak has said as he added that the association was signed and must be implemented.
