That is what Minister Haradinaj himself has made known, as he said details about setting diplomatic relations between the two countries were discussed at the meeting.
“I was honored to open the first official consultative meeting between the General Directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, in which it was discussed details of the deployment of diplomatic relations between Kosovo and Israel, readiness for the construction of full relations in all fields, as well as the opening of the Kosovo Embassy in Jerusalem”, it is said in the minister's post.
Meanwhile, it is said that it was also discussed with regard to the first official “visit to the state of Israel of the Kosovo Republic delegation in next month”.
The economic agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, finalised in Washington, has resulted in diplomatic recognition of Kosovo and Israel.
