KMDLNj stresses that the problem of wandering dogs is not only the problem of the Pristina municipality, but also of the relevant ministries.
Through a communiqué released to the media, it is said that the municipality of Pristina and the Government of Kosovo should become “the problem of wandering dogs should in no way be or treated as issues belonging only to the capital's institutions, but that even relevant ministries should contribute to solving this problem. Despite the fact that the municipality of Pristina has marked the capital's dogs as if they have made sterilization to control their numbers, it is noted that the streets of the capital have been income and that they are not marked, meaning that they have not even been treated with vaccines or become sterilization. The Pristina municipality, but the Government of Kosovo through relevant ministries must share additional tools for dog treatment and housing organisations to increase the capacity of shelters in order to create conditions and opportunities for the capital's dogs to be treated in better condition and not pose a risk to the lives and security of the citizens”, it is written in the communiques.
This nongovernmental organisation calls Pristina “the capital of dogs”.
“During pre-election campaigns for local elections , candidates for Pristina chairman had promised a Metropolitan Pristina, regulation of public transportation by trams, building the subway until Fushe Kosova, green spaces and parks, the Opera House, enough underground and underground parking lots, while not able to build a single public toilet. Now, obviously, Pristina has become a capital of dogs and a tremendous opportunity for uncontrolled construction to legalize the construction mafia, which is in fact recycling dirty money and acquired by criminal activities (a part of it) otherwise can't understand such large housing construction, and their price never sits down at the time it doesn't need so much housing. In the absence of green spaces and recreation spaces, Pristina is becoming architectural mass cemetery”, said among other things in the communique.
