Bill for KLA is by no means approved, LVV calls law weak but PDK does not withdraw

For the seventh time in a row, the Kosovo Liberation Army Defence Bill has failed to approve in the Kosovo Assembly. At yesterday's session, this bill received only 36 votes “for”, but for lack of decision-making again has been processed for the next session. Sponsor of this law, [...]
The sponsor of this law, the Democratic Party of Kosovo, does not participate in the vote of the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo is seeing it as irresponsible, and by the Vetevendosje Movement say this law is weak for such a great value
Initiator of this bill, MP PDK, Gazmend Bytyqi, says the deputies of the Vetevendosje Movement and LDK are behaving irresponsiblely towards this bill.
He for Kosova Prees says it is strange how MPs do not take the courage to vote on this bill or even vote against it.
“We have had a common consensus, all political parties have agreed that if we vote on this bill in the first reading and then on concerns, comments, complaints, other issues we will address in the second reading, because it is only in this form that opportunities. They have chosen another way, a way not to vote, and a way to disinform the citizen, simply telling him that this bill is trying to protect a certain group of people of war or command structure, which is not at all so, neither is that part where freedom of speech or free speech is supposed to be restricted, because that law does not violate freedom of expression, nor freedom of speech. Therefore, for us the spirit of this law is the protection and assessment of a particular part of our history, such as the KLA war”, he says.
He says that following the response of foreign embassies in the country, they have noted a withdrawal of political parties, particularly the LDK and LVV, to support this bill.
Do not participate in the vote on the Kosovo Liberation Army's Defence Values Bill by LDK of LVV meaninglessly calls it AAK deputy Time Kadrij.
She says that as a political subject, she has supported this bill and will support it every time it is in the agenda at the session.
For me, it is pointless why other majority MPs, since they are voting even non-Serb communities, are not voting this bill. If a bill is made to protect the values of war, it is no better because it is a sublimate value. The war of the KLA, the fighters, the disabled, the families of the martyrs are the basic values of Kosovo, which we must preserve and promote and not neglect in this form. I'm surprised at the actions of some political subjects who, in some form when they speak, raise their voices too loud and they're only doing it for political points. While, when it comes to acting concrete or voting, they are not voting, nor are they even abstaining so that votes cannot be made to pass this bill. I don't know what's wrong with this bill, which is not being voted by deputies”, she says.
Vetevendosje Movement Parliamentary Group chief Rexhep Selimi says the reason why they are not taking part in the vote for this bill is because he does not, in turn, fulfill the values that the KLA has.
He stressed that the KLA's war values would have to be protected with the Constitutions and that there would be no need for such a law at all.
“We want the Kosovo Liberation Army to be a distinguished protected value, as it is, but the bill in concrete cases does not necessarily meet those requests that the Kosovo Liberation Army has and its value. Therefore, we have sought to withdraw this law and make a law or to have no need for law, these values were protected with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. It's the same factors that haven't received the opportunity at the time when the Constitution of Kosovo was made to include U n The CK nor the fight of the Albanian people for freedom. Now at a certain moment at a certain time... they are looking to adopt this bill, but also with an unintelligible persistentr, because they definitely want a weak law for such a great value”, Selimi says.
However, the MP PDK, Gazmend Bytyqi, says they will not give up this bill, which says they have made clear to all parliamentary groups.
We've let them know, let them know that we don't back down from this law, if anyone thinks that by not voting, we're going to retire, because it's going to be wrong by the end of the mandate, maybe in other mandates, whenever or at least the MPs should say their word and not act in this form by not having the courage to raise their hands, he stated.
Regarding the Kosovo Liberation Army's Defence Values Bill, foreign embassies in the country had reacted, saying this bill violated freedom of expression and had called for the same to not be approved
