KDI: LDK AND AAK “ ♪ FROM THE BORDET PUBLICIA
According to local reports, but international ones as well, Kosovo continues to face elements of the capture of the state, while the practice of apprehending public enterprise boards and establishing non-competent and party people has been posted.
Public companies are the most criticised institutions for poor performance, which operate at financial losses, and some of them are on the brink of bankruptcy. However, the same ones are continuing to serve as shelter for the accommodation of party people from political subjects governing the country. This has also been reflected during the recent appointments of the boards of important companies such as Trepca, Infrakos and Kosovo Post, where individuals who have been competing for public office under the logo of LDK and AAK have been assigned.
We appreciate that putting individuals with party background in temporary positions on these boards, without respecting public competition procedures, is contrary to the laws of these public enterprises and contrary to the key promise that boards will be taken from politics and will be professional, independent and integrity-independent.
KDI calls on the Government to respect the law and maintain pledges given to the state and public enterprises from politics.
