Kamberi: We cannot expect mercy from Dachyq

Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, had said democracy in Serbia is worse than in the time of the dictator Milosevic. And his statement has sparked harsh reactions in Belgrade, including President Vuciq.

Kamberi, in a television debate, has said that whenever he met with Vuciqi he has never expressed himself willing to solve Albanian problems.

“The truth is that Serbia is not democratic. Serbia violates the rights of Albanians and Bosniaks in Sandzak”, Kamberi said.

Without the help of Kosovo and Albania, we cannot expect improvements in rights. We cannot expect mercy from Vuciq, Berbabic or Dachic, but we need pressure on them to respect our rights, Kamberi concludes. / P ERISCOPI/
