Infermies union has a request for Hoti: They Name 2 million euros

The Union of Infermies, midwives and other professionals has addressed a letter to Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, demanding that payment for night shifts, holidays or weekends be paid in 36 out of 18 euros.

In the directed letter, they have compared this, saying it is the small implications compared to the eight-minute transfer from the 2m-euro Infrastructure Ministry.

We have called for an increase in night's shift payment from KKUK, SHKUK, Health Minister, to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.

All those demands are left in drawers or thrown out, while what remains is just frustration and the discontent of nurses with treatment that institutions are doing over and over again.

Pandemia with COVIDD-19 seems to have no end now. From real examples, we tell you that for working with patients with COVID-19, any night shifts, jobs on weekends, parties or whatever else it's paid for only $18, and that can be easily witnessed if you just look at your pay lists.

However, we are aware that the situation is not especially normal from March 14, 2020, and that it should be worked just as we can so that citizens can take the necessary care, but normal is not even the inconsistencies of funds in pandemic time, while demands and care for nurses in whose arms you take pride in the management of pandemic are unalable, without counting on the financial bleeding that is happening to the state budget now in the last days.

We believe it's time for no nurse to respond to a job invitation with COVID-19 until the night shift fee increases.
From 18m to 36m growth is the very small budget implications for the state, there is less possible than the 8-minute transfer from the 2m-euro Infrastructure Ministry.
