At least three people died, and others were injured this Thursday as a result of a knife attack in France. Police arrested the author a few minutes later, while the wounded were sent to hospital for medical treatment.

Local media suggest the attack took place in the Nore-Dame cathedral, in Nice, where two women and one men died as a result.

Meanwhile, the city's mayor, Christian Estros, has named the attack in cathedrals a terrorist post.
