The country's prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, has indicated that next Thursday the Thanksgiving Day Thanksgiving will be marked by the old Illyrians, which they marked for years as a popular cultural holiday about October 23rd.
He added that this year, due to specific circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, this holiday will be marked symbolically, with a limited number of guests.
“The Lama Evening Party is very old. Ancient authors have marked it since the century B.C. In 2002, Kosovo's historic president, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova had announced the Thanksgiving celebration .
And we, on this important day, will thank God for the goods that he has forgiven us in one year and pray to Him that, in the next year, in the next weather, he will forgive us, to give us even more than the best”.

Also, this day reminds us that we must devote ourselves to Kosovo's land and its many products.
The government of the Republic of Kosovo has doubled the aid to our farmers and other producers, so that our products we feed on, with the goods of our land.
This year, because of the specific circumstances of COVID 19 pandemic, we will mark this holiday symbolically with a limited number of guests. In the future, however, this cultural celebration of our prosperous tradition will be marked together, and with our many friends, as we recorded in President Rugova's time, as our ancestors have!
God bless the Republic of Kosovo and its blessings!
