Hoti: Only final agreement with Serbia

The LDK prime minister, the party of the late President Rugova, has had experience in Kosovo institutions since 2006, but has not been involved in major international negotiations for Kosovo, nor in meetings such as the one with President Trump.

I don't have any experience in such meetings. It really was a special experience. But when I received my mandate as prime minister, I took it in a beautiful, difficult time. I'd say in a period of complete isolation from our international partners. We agreed with our friends some actions we should do as governments so that we could open our way to Washington and Brussels and investments and other issues. So to move forward as a normal state that aspires to Euro-Atlantic integration” he said.

Hoti points out that at the beginning of the mandate, he has made difficult, not populist decisions.

And this “Meeting in Washington was also the result of those actions we did”.

Kosovo's prime minister agrees that the agreement in Washington was not perfect, but stresses the country's benefits from that agreement.
