On Tuesday morning, Health Minister Armend Zemaj met with directors of general hospitals ( Sa SKUK to get acquainted with hospital conditions as well as preparations for the epidemiological situation. For now, the situation in hospitals is stable, but increased caution and commitment is required.
Zemaj at this meeting was quoted as saying that health care cannot be missed because of the virus and that no restrictions on patient treatment can be made in hospitals or CKUK.
“General hospitals can't at any moment upload the QKUK, guiding the cases. Patients who can receive adequate treatment in regional hospitals should remain there, at the same time accounting with transparency are inseparable in our daily work, this is also the obligation of each manager and manager in the public sector”, Zemaj was quoted as saying.
Zemaj stressed that she expects each in charge to be at the right level, not reducing the pace of work and continuing with increased commitment.
The Ministry of Health has increased the number of professionals in health institutions with 200 other professionals until another 375 professionals and support staff from various fields have been added to the health system, while about 1,500 specialisations have been shared for doctors in order to help the same through medical schooling contribute to the strengthening of capacity for managing the Cardi 19 pandemic.
