Heart: Next week the distribution of 160,000 anti-Verral flu vaccines begins

So said Health Minister Amend Zemaj after meeting with representatives of the “Robert Koch”, who have praised the work of health staff during the time of the COVID-19 combat.

Next week, we start with the distribution of 160 thousand of the 500 vaccines provided. And we're in the process of securing 340,000 vaccines against seasonal flu. And this distribution will begin starting with demands, which have now received the National Institute of Public Health in our municipalities and our QKMF throughout Kosovo”, Zemaj has declared.

Besides, Zemaj has also thanked the team of experts for their experiences of doctors in the country.

For two weeks and in the days that we are continuing with their visits to KKUK, co-operation with our health professionals, regional hospitals, with IKCPK, are taking and dealing with ways of combating pandemics, but also looking closely at infrastructure assessment, human capacities and all other issues related not only to fighting COVID-19, but also to health services in the Republic of Kosovo. I received a brief presentation, I am very pleased with their assessment, but above all with the appreciation for the work of our health professionals, our organisation as the Ministry of Health, how we managed the pandemic situation in these difficult months after opening in uncontrolled June, which we found as the minister and as the new government. And gradually which we brought under control and today we are among the seven countries that we are best managing the pandemic”, Zemaj said.

The first of the Health Ministry pledged that it will continue with discipline and monitoring the measures, with the aim of combating coronary, while urging citizens to wear masks, physical distance and personal hygiene.

Institute of “representative Robert Koch” Jonathan Baum has comforted all families who lost loved ones to the coronary virus. He has stressed that COVID-19 does not recognise the borders, which he said is important that they be together in fighting this pandemic.

I thank the Minister of Health and all the health workers that have been faced during this time with this pandemic. At the same time, the OBS with their work that helped him fight this pandemic... We've been visiting a number of clinics in different countries for the past two weeks, and we've also met with various health workers who are facing and working on the work against pandemic... True, I have been impressed by how dedicated the staff or health staff are in their faced work. They have simply risked their lives and the lives of those who have many times faced life loss during the work they have done during these months”, he said.
