Health Minister Armend Zemaj said on public television that at the moment we have an manageable situation, even though we have had slight growth in the last two or three days, which comes from the lack of care and disrespect of anti-convident measures.
“We are in manageable situation, we have had a slight increase these two three days, the discount movement, but it is disturbing for us that the number is growing out of negligence and by not caring for anyone in the Republic of Kosovo, starting with central and local institutions but also by citizens who have been forced to implement the measures and maintain their health”, Zemaj said.
But if the number of Zemaj infections increases, Zemaj said they have the action plan and if it continues with increased cases of infection, the option could also be preferential isolation.
“We have set up all vigilance through insecurative monitoring mechanisms of the Kosovo Police, local insectorate municipalities. I've also activated the additional potential we have on the QKMFs, emergency headquarters means there's a reorganization that is being made to keep this situation and this control. Above all, the call we have to constantly take care of is not to go through an excessive release that could lead us into a situation as heavily as it was in the previous months. We are seen to have growth in every country, Kosovo is maintaining this stability, the Ministry of Health, the Government of Kosovo is taking all necessary measures. We have concrete examples that we have been damaged in the past by caution or any measure that has been relatively unmanageable in terms of preserving this situation around Covid 19”, he said.
If there were cases of increased infection, let's take the day, where we had 77 cases, even though we had a fall from the past days, we had no death and greater numbers of cures. Today and tomorrow, we will analyze where this infection is coming from and take adequate measures even of the PPP”, Zemaj said.
