According to press reports, official Athens has installed two new portable equipment launching powerful sound waves in the Euro River (Marica) border area to be used against the influx of immigrants from Turkey

Two long - range sound devices, known as LRAD, produce solar explosions and have the power to make people deaf.

Used as in civilian areas during protests or military in the world, LRAD systems, when used in humans, can cause dissemination, deafness, unbearable pain and health problems with unknown consequences. Their use is prohibited in many parts of the world.

As reported, under Greece's decisions for strengthening border units, four pilot-free airlights, 15 thermal cameras, five boats and ten armoured patrol vehicles are also involved in the border surveillance system.

On the other hand, construction of the new wire wall at the Turkish-Greek border, which was reportedly to be built in the Marica River region against illegal immigration, has started in the Feres region. (Anadolu)
