Germany is expected to be able to initiate the immunisation of people against corruption in the first three months of 2021, said German Health Minister Jens Spahn.
As things stand right now, “I appreciate that we will be able to start immunization in the first quarter of next year”, Spahn said.
He stressed that the vaccine would be voluntary.
Germany is still waiting for its researchers to develop the vaccine against coronary.
Authorities plan to vaccinate high-risk groups first, including people suffering from pre-existing medical conditions, the elderly, health care workers and elders' housing employees.
Germany has confirmed over 332,000 cases of coronarys in total.
Of them, over 9,600 have died and nearly 280,000 have recovered.
Currently, around the world, about 170 potential vaccines are under way.
Of them, according to the World Health Organization, 26 are in human testing stages.
