Police in India saved a 74-year-old from the refrigerator in which his brother held him after the family assumed he was dead.
Balasbramanian Kumar was so sick he couldn't get out of bed when his family noticed that he stopped moving on Monday afternoon.
Supposeding that he changed his life, the family demanded that a refrigerator box be delivered so that they could preserve the body to perform the last rituals.
However, when an employee of the freezing company came to receive it the next day, he noticed that his “trupi” was giving signs of life.
He called family members and when they checked, they realized Kumar was still breathing, and then called for help. Local media reports say the man spent about 20 hours in the refrigerator.
The issue was initiated for behavior by carelessness in order to endanger one's life, an act that endangers the lives or personal security of others.
The incident attracted the country's attention after a report showed a video of Kumar crashing into the refrigerator.
